60m Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht Dream joins market

23 April 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

The 60-metre Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht Dream has joined the market with Charles Carveles and Jonathan Barbe of Edmiston.

Delivered in 2001 by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen, Dream has since put her 5,000-nautical-mile range to good use, completing multiple voyages across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean. A proven charter yacht, multiple refits have left the superyacht in "immaculate condition", according to the broker, including her special survey which was undertaken this year. US designer Donald Starkey is behind her classic, masculine exterior, while interiors are the work of British studio Bannenberg & Rowell.

Lying in Malta, Dream is asking €39,500,000

Accommodation is flexible, comprising seven dedicated suites and two additional spaces within the owner's suite – currently configured as a yoga room and private office – that can be converted as needed. The owner's area is full-beam, spanning 110 square metres and complete with a grand lobby, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes and dual en suites featuring a Jacuzzi and steam shower.

Her Bannenberg & Rowell interiors are soft and tranquil, with a combination of precious woods, custom European furnishings and Asian artwork "creating a contemplative ambience". Heightening this "Zen" aesthetic, Dream is also known as "an extremely quiet yacht", particularly the owner's suite which reaches a maximum of 41 decibels when cruising.

Envisioned for leisure and entertainment, the sundeck is one of Dream's major social hubs. A Jacuzzi surrounded by built-in sunpads can be found forward, connected to a full-service bar with new exterior furnishings (including bar stools). Several lounging areas complete the set-up, with the option to shade this area through a retractable awning.

Meanwhile, the bridge deck aft offers a sheltered al fresco dining area which leads into the skylounge, doubling as a cinema lounge with its bright 103-inch screen, surround sound and plush seating. Other highlights include a versatile terrace on the main deck and the gym, complete with Technogym treadmill and exercise machine.

The broker made special note of her premium 10-metre chase tender, which can be carried on board during long crossings, alongside a wealth of watertoys that include WaveRunners, SeaBobs, full dive gear (including a Nitrox compressor), paddleboards, towables, a waterslide, jellyfish pool and beach set-up.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 1,877hp engines, this yacht for sale can reach a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Other keys specs include a 10.7-metre beam and a substantial volume of 1,092GT.

Lying in Malta, Dream is asking €39,500,000.
