The 39.62 metre tri-deck motor yacht Chasing Daylight has been sold with both buyer and seller represented by Raymond Young in an in-house deal at RJC Yacht Sales.
Built in GRP by US yard Westport to a design by Gregory C Marshall, Chasing Daylight was delivered in 2005 as a Westport 130 model and refitted just this year. A cherry wood interior with burl accents by Pacific Custom Interiors accommodates 10 guests in five cabins comprising a master suite, two doubles and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep seven members of staff aboard this yacht for sale.
The main saloon comes with a comfortable upholstered sofa and club chairs, a bar with a fridge and ice maker, plus an entertainment centre complete with a 50-inch Samsung HD television and a Kaleidescape on-demand audio and video server. Forward, the dining area offers a custom cherry wood dining table with seating for 10 guests and port and starboard built-in buffets for storage of glassware, china and cutlery. Moving up a deck, the highlight of the skylounge is a home cinema system featuring a 62-inch Fujitsu television screen in front of a comfortable sofa and armchairs while sliding glass doors lead out to the upper aft deck.
The flybridge offers an excellent ambience for al fresco entertainment, with built-in bench seating, a settee and two tables, sun pads, a bar and barbecue, all sheltered by a custom hard top. Her top speed is 26 knots and her power comes from two 2,735hp MTU 12V4000M90 diesel engines.
Chasing Daylight was asking $8,900,000.
