22 July 2024 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 54.7-metre superyacht Rare Find is now openly on the market with Michel Chryssicopoulos of IYC and "priced to sell" at €1,500,000 less than her previous off-market asking price.

Delivered in 2009 by Turkish yard Turquoise Yachts with a handsome exterior profile by the late Ed Dubois, the steel and aluminium yacht sports a "sophisticated" contemporary H2 interior. Her hull was repainted during a refit in 2023.

Lying in Athens, Greece, Rare Find is asking €19,500,000

Accommodating up to 14 guests in six cabins, she is a voluminous yacht of 710GT. The two twin cabins on the lower deck have additional Pullman berths making them  perfect for children in extended mode. There are two doubles positioned aft of these on the lower deck and a VIP double above on the main deck. The master suite takes prime position forward of the VIP. There are quarters for a crew of 13.

On the upper deck is a dedicated massage treatment suite, a gym, a bar and ample seating both inside and on deck. The main saloon is open plan with a large oblong dining table in its forward part. Up on the sun deck is a Jacuzzi towards the bow and another large table for al fresco dining aft.

Aft of her tender garage, an array of pontoons can be set up to form a large floating water sports platform when at rest, with a central open rectangle acting as a saltwater pool. Inflatable sunpads and sun awnings complete the scene.

Twin 1,500hp Caterpillar engines give the ABS-classed yacht for sale a maximum speed of 16 knots and cruising speed of 13 knots. The broker pointed out that Rare Find has a solid charter track record.
