Italian yard Sanlorenzo has sold its sixth new-build 44 metre motor yacht to an Australian client with the buyer introduced by Ekka Yachts and Ray White Marine in Australia.
Currently under construction in aluminium to a design by Zuccon International Project, she is expected to be delivered in late 2022. The yacht is characterised by clean, sporty lines with distinctive cut-outs in the bulwarks to provide unlimited sea views from the main deck and a sky lounge on the upper deck. The 44 Alloy is a highly capable fast cruiser able to reach a maximum speed of 22 knots. The aft side of the hull boasts a spacious beach club that opens on three sides with a lateral tender garage featuring a 7m tender.

An innovative feature is the exceptional master cabin which spans over three levels and covers a total of 145 square metres, a combination never seen before on a yacht of this size. The suite includes its own private outdoor bow lounge area with a private pool.
The interior volume is understood to be 440GT — a significant increase on the outgoing Sanlorenzo 40 Alloy's 338GT - and will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests with a crew of nine. Power will come from a twin-screw MTU drivetrain for a top speed of 22 knots and comfortable cruising at 20 knots. Vital statistics include an 8.9 metre beam and a maximum draught of 2.3 metres.
