Price drop on Royal Huisman sailing yacht Volador

17 October 2017 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 25 metre sailing yacht Volador, listed for sale at The World of Yachting, has had a €100,000 price reduction.

Volador was built in aluminium by Dutch yard Royal Huisman to a design by German Frers and delivered in 1982 as a cruising ketch. She underwent a complete technical and cosmetic refit in 2005, which included fitting a virtually all-new interior with four double guest cabins, each with en-suite bathroom facilities. All electronic equipment on this yacht for sale was replaced and upgraded, while deck hardware, safety equipment and sailing hydraulics were also replaced.

Volador is now asking €950,000

On deck, the central cockpit is a favourite spot for guests, with plenty of space for al fresco cocktails or dining while admiring the fine views.

Fully MCA compliant, Volador has proved to be a very popular charter yacht, as she is a true blue water thoroughbred, guaranteed to bring many miles of happy cruising to the sailing connoisseur. Under power, a 260hp Mercedes engine gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Volador is now asking €950,000.
