The 45.72 metre Palmer Johnson motor yacht Andiamo, listed for sale by AJ Blackmon at Apollo Yachts, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Alex G Clarke of Denison Yachting.
With naval architecture by Donald Blount, she was built in aluminium by US yard Palmer Johnson to Lloyds and MCA class with an exterior and interior design by Nuvolari Lenard, and delivered in 2007 as a PJ150 model. She subsequently had a major refit in 2014/2015 including a full paint job. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, a double and two twin cabins, each with a Pullman berth, and all cabins have en suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon is decorated in a rich palette of chocolate and cream colours and has comfortable U-shaped seating on large settees, a bar and an entertainment centre including a 78-inch flatscreen television set. Forward is a formal dining area seating 10 guests and there is WiFi internet access throughout the yacht. She also includes a newly designed open sundeck offering a spa, barbecue, wet bar and an air-conditioned seating area.
A popular charter yacht, she came complete with a fine collection of water toys. Twin 3,650hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 22 knots and she is eminently stable, fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilizers and three Seakeeper gyroscopic units.
Andiamo was asking $12,900,000.
