The 65.2-metre Nicolini superyacht Adamas V, listed for sale with Sotiris Konstantakis and Giulio Riggio of Fraser, has received a $1,000,000 price reduction.
Adamas V was originally delivered in 1987 as Al Menwar, commissioned by the then Emir of Qatar as the royal family's private yacht. Sanzio Nicolini, founder of Italian yards CRN and Cantieri Navali Nicolini, penned her exterior design and naval architecture, which is often recognised for its low profile and elongated main deck. To date, she remains the flagship of the Italian builder.

Regular refits have kept the vessel well-maintained since her launch, including a multi-million refit and systems upgrade completed in 2023 under the supervision of Italian designer Giorgio Vafiadis – refreshing the original Claudio Zampetti interior.
The main saloon is notably grand, with its numerous seating options, dining tables and adjoining dedicated entertainment room with a smart television and surround sound.
In terms of design, warm woods are offset by cream carpets and light-toned furnishings, with touches of navy and silver metal accents throughout. New lighting options and long sweeping windows make each interior space feel spacious and bright, offering a welcoming escape on board to guests.
Speaking of her guests, accommodation is for a party of 12 and 15 crew. A 130-square-metre owner's suite is located on the main deck, complete with a private saloon, walk-in dressing room and king-sized bed, also complemented by an adjoining 50-square-metre VIP suite. The remaining four guest cabins are uniquely positioned on the upper deck, all finished with large windows and boasting direct access to the skylounge.
A seventh guest cabin on the main deck provides accommodation for the owner's personal assistants.
A highlight of Adamas V's extensive refit includes the redesign of her sundeck and the accompanying addition of a six-person Jacuzzi to "enhance leisure options". Here, there is also a wet bar and multiple loungers.
Other exterior deck options include al fresco dining on the main deck aft and covered lounge seating on the upper deck aft.
The 986GT Lloyd's classed yacht for sale offers a comfortable 15-knot cruising speed and a maximum speed of 20 knots with power coming from twin 4,175hp MTU diesel engines.
Lying in Athens, Greece, Adamas V is now asking $14,500,000 with EU VAT paid.
