The 28.66 metre Horizon motor yacht The Rock, listed for sale by Bob Friscia at Yacht Connexion, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Bill Palmer of Denison Yachting.
Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Horizon to a design by Cor D. Rover, she was delivered in 2021 as an FD 92 model. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
Entering the main deck saloon through stainless steel framed sliding glass doors, to port is a large sofa and love seat. To starboard the saloon features built-in cabinets with abundant storage, refrigeration and an entertainment centre including an A/V system with a 55-inch QLED 4K television screen. Forward is the formal dining area and a ‘country kitchen’ style galley including a dinette for casual meals through the day.
Outdoors, the comfortable aft deck features al fresco dining and a wet bar with bar stools and a drop-down television screen. Up on the flybridge, there is a centerline Stidd helm chair and a reversible bench seat to port. Just aft of that is a full bar with stools and a large dining area to starboard. Aft of the flybridge is the boat deck with an electric barbecue grill. Twin 1,600hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 18 knots.
The Rock was asking $9,600,000.
