The 44.5 metre motor yacht Cracker Bay, listed for sale by J.D. Crawford at Fraser, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Michael Tabor of Galati Yacht Sales.
Designed by Diana Yacht Design, Cracker Bay was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch superyacht yard Hakvoort to Lloyd's class and MCA compliant with delivery in 2002 as Campbell Bay and refitted in 2015. Her elegant interior is by Winch Design, and she can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins.
The main deck master suite features a king-size bed, HD television with surround sound and his and hers wardrobes. The woodwork is beautifully executed with burl wood insets and raised panels. There are five guest cabins on the lower deck aft, accessed from a central foyer. Three suites feature queen sized berths and the fourth cabin has a king berth that can be converted into two twin beds with night stands. All the cabins are beautifully panelled in dark wood with custom inlays. The fifth guest cabin in this yacht for sale is a small twin with upper and lower bunks, and all cabins have en-suite bathroom facilities.
The sundeck is particularly attractive with a large Jacuzzi forward surrounded by sunpads. Amidships is a large teak dining table with seating for twelve guests, while close by is storage and a wet bar. Aft on the sundeck are twin built-in seating areas on each side and additional chaise lounges for soaking up the sun. In addition, there are electric awnings for shade and a dumbwaiter to the galley.
Twin 970hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles while Quantum zero-speed stabilisers ensure safety and comfort when cruising.
Cracker Bay was asking $11,750,000.
