Second hybrid 42m GX Superyachts 42 RPH hull listed for sale

25 March 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

The second 42.1-metre hull from GX Superyachts' hybrid 42 RPH series has been listed for sale with Ali Tanir of Northrop & Johnson

The 353GT flybridge yacht would be constructed in aluminium by the Turkish shipyard and developed by hybrid boatbuilder Greenline Yachts. Said by the broker to be "engineered for a new generation of owners", the model features an optimised hull design by naval architect Francesco Rogantin, with silk-like exterior lines and an "intelligent" interior penned by Marco Casali of Too Design.

The first hull from the series – a raised pilothouse model – is currently in-build with delivery scheduled for summer 2026.

Hull two from the series is asking €32,000,000

Accommodation on board the hybrid new build is for 10 guests in five cabins, including a large owner's suite with a walk-through dressing area and a VIP cabin with a fold-out balcony. Meanwhile, there are quarters for a crew of eight.

Casali's interiors are a display of both sustainable and high-end Italian luxury, adorned in natural wood flooring, leather and bespoke fixtures and furnishings. According to the broker, the layout of hull two is fully customisable, although her current design creates a "seamless" flow from saloon to flybridge.

Inside, guests are welcomed by a wide main saloon which hosts relaxed seating and a more formal dining space forward. The room is decorated in an inviting neutral colour palette, with plenty of textures and pops of muted colour throughout.

However, it is the exterior spaces of the 42 RPH that steal the show on board. A large beach club lies at the stern with fold-down wings and an elongated glass-fronted pool that can be covered to provide additional deck space. Twin steps lead from the beach club to the aft deck, which houses an al fresco dining space and benefits from shade from the flybridge overhang.

The flybridge is spacious, and according to her broker is, "elegantly styled in contrast to the GX42 Coupé’s sculpted superstructure and retractable solar-panelled roof." Instead, the flybridge version of the RPH model features comfortable sofas, a bar and a dining table, while a Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads overlooks the stern.

This new listing comes as the first step in the European shipyard's recent partnership with Northrop & Johnson, which is intended to market GX Superyachts' new product offerings in the Americas.

The yacht for sale is powered by a hybrid propulsion system allowing for zero-emission cruising and silent navigation at six knots with a range of up to 100 nautical miles under electric power.

For longer cruising journeys, she transitions to diesel engines for a top speed of 15 knots and transatlantic range at 12 knots. She has integrated solar panels across her exterior, allowing for silent, fossil fuel–free anchoring for up to 48 hours.

Hull two of the 42 RPH series is asking €32,000,000.
