The 17th unit of UAE yard Gulf Craft’s 31.7 metre Majesty 100 series has been sold. The yacht will be constructed under the supervision of German yard Drettman Yachts, who also oversaw the sale.
The European owner intends to use the yacht for private use in the South of France, having transferred from a Ferretti 850.
Speaking about the sale Drettman Yachts’ co-chief executive officer, Albert Drettman, said: “The customer has been visiting us at the Cannes Yachting Festival for years and has now ‘put his money where his mouth is’”.
Designed in-house by Gulf Craft, the yacht features accommodation for 10 guests in five staterooms, including an owner’s cabin on the forward main deck and four staterooms on the lower deck. Both the layout and decor of the rooms can be designed according to the owner’s personal preference.
Floor-to-ceiling windows are found in the main deck saloon, while folding balconies sit either side of the cockpit. Powered by twin MAN 1,900hp engines, the yacht’s top speed is 20 knots while a range of 1,500 nautical miles is possible at 12 knots.
Described by Gulf Craft chairman Mohammed Alshaali as one of the yard’s “most sought-after models”, the Majesty 100 was first launched in 2017 at the Dubai Yacht Show and has been delivered to owners in Europe, Africa and America.
