The 80.2 metre motor yacht Golden Odyssey has been listed for sale at Burgess.

Built by renowned German yard Blohm+Voss in steel and aluminium to Lloyds class, Golden Odyssey was designed by Platou & Amble Associates and delivered in 1990. Commissioned by an eco-conscious Saudi Arabian prince, this explorer-style yacht became the flagship of his Golden Fleet along with the Marco Yachts-built support yacht Golden Shadow, the 98-foot sportfish yacht Golden Osprey, and Golden Eye, a Cessna 280 seaplane. The fleet has been available for charter in whole or in part over the past few years.

Golden Odyssey sleeps 14 guests in seven staterooms consisting of a master suite, a VIP stateroom, a double and four twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities. Serviced by a crew of 25, the yacht is equipped with a sauna, hot-tub, mosaic swimming pool and a large fully equipped gym. In the dining saloon, a double-deck glass aquarium magically enhances the dining experience and on deck, a vast mosaic swimming pool with counter current, lit at night by hundreds of fibre optic lights, links to the aquarium while the owner’s private deck boasts a Jacuzzi and sunbathing area.

Powered by twin 2,868 Deutz engines giving her a range of 9,100 nautical miles, the price of Golden Odyssey is available on application.
