The 28.8 metre motor yacht conversion DP Monitor has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Kevin Bonnie and Christian Ekeberg at IYC.
Built in steel by Italian commercial yard M&B Benetti, DP Monitor was delivered in 1953 as a sturdy oceangoing tug. In 1991 she was converted into a luxury yacht under the direction of designer Antonello Pistoia and now offers accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite and three twins. All have entertainment centres, satellite television screens and en suite bathroom facilities, and there are also quarters for five crew aboard this yacht for sale.
The full beam main deck saloon is decorated in a Victorian style with dark wood joinery and soft furnishings in shades of cream, currently in excellent condition following a 2011 interior refit.
Over 100 square metres of exterior deck space includes a vast aft area with loose and fitted furniture under a sun awning to ensure comfortable al fresco entertaining and dining while the sun deck comes with a full complement of sun beds and loungers.
True to her origins, she offers an extensive range of 1,750 nautical miles at a 11.5 knots powered by a single 1,000hp Cummins engine.
Lying in Marina di Stabia, Italy, DP Monitor is asking €1,250,000 with VAT paid.
