The 29-metre sailing yacht Lady 8 is newly listed for sale with Alastair Shove of Carrswood Yachts.
Built by French yard CNB to a design by Philippe Briand and delivered in 2008, the aluminium sloop has just completed a comprehensive refit at STP Palma, as well as her five-year Bureau Veritas class survey. As well as a new Awlgrip hull painting, the yacht's navigation systems, mast wiring, engine room and insulation were all upgraded.
Lady 8 accommodates eight in four cabins and has quarters for a crew of four. The broker suggested that her layout would be ideal for either a family cruising yacht or as a commercial charter vessel.
A large centre cockpit has a hard top covering an upholstered lounging area with a table providing al fresco dining for six guests. Additional arrangements for relaxation are available in the saloon, with ample leather seating, a large dining table and a calming décor finished in pale woods.
Brands that will appeal to racing sailors include her Hall Spars carbon mast and Harken deck gear, as well as Doyle sails –added in 2019 – that were serviced in 2023. The 88GT yacht for sale has a single 405hp Cummins diesel engine, giving her a top speed of 10 knots.
Lady 8 is asking €3,950,000.
