Classic Trumpy motor yacht BB sold

The 24.38 metre classic Trumpy motor yacht BB has been sold with both seller and buyer represented by Karen Kelly Shea of Luke Brown Yachts.

Built by American yard Trumpy in 1947 for George W. Codrington, she is unique among Trumpy yachts as her hull was built at the New Jersey yard before being towed to Annapolis to be finished.

BB was asking $1,950,000

Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins configured in a two-head layout with a centreline master queen berth. The crew quarters are located in the bow, split across two cabins, offering excellent separation for the utmost privacy.

She also boasts a full beam galley and generous saloon with day head as well as a card room/viewing saloon. Direct access to the large aft deck and connecting side decks and bow is from the main saloon while a private raised pilothouse is located above.

Power comes from two Detroit Diesel 6-71N engines offering a top speed of 13 knots with comfortable cruising for up to 700 nautical miles at 10 knots.

BB was asking $1,950,000.
