The 71 metre classic motor yacht Dona Amélia has been listed for sale by Alex Busher at Edmiston & Company.
Previously known as Haida G and, before that, Rosenkavalier, she was built by German yard Krupp Germaniawerft to a Cox & Stevens design and delivered in 1929. Accommodation is for 13 guests in seven cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP suites, two twins, a double and a single cabin, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
Overall, her interior exudes a timeless style evocative of the Art Deco era, from her bespoke furniture to her traditional fittings.
This gentleman’s motor yacht still has many of her original parts, including her Krupp 750hp MAK engines and had an extensive refit at Pendennis Plus in 2011. The engines underwent routine maintenance, servicing and renovation like most of the other technical equipment and tanks on board, while the teak decks and exterior brightwork were revitalised, and the audio/visual system, galley equipment and spa pool were upgraded.
She has a range of 8,000 nautical miles at 11 knots and her twin 750hp Krupp diesel engines offer a top speed of 13 knots.
Dona Amélia is asking €23 million.
