The classic canoe-stern motor yacht Lady Andrea has been listed for sale by Justin Onofrietti at Denison Yachting.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by H.W. De Voogt, she was delivered in 1970 and has so far logged 12 transatlantic crossings, three by her current owner_. She_ provides luxurious accommodation for six owners and guests in three large cabins, each with private adjoining en-suite bathroom facilities. There is also an elegant on-deck study across from which is a large full bath with a large stall shower. The study is today furnished with a double berth making up a fourth stateroom to sleep eight guests in all.
Opening from the aft lounge through double fold-back teak framed glass doors, is the sumptuous main saloon. This is one of the most popular and striking areas of the yacht as it has lavish Tinos green Greek marble for wall to wall floors and rich mahogany wood walls with inlaid burl wood panels. There are large picture windows, direct and indirect lighting and classical furnishings such as a solid hand-carved rosewood figure-head table, circa 1875 by A. Roux of New York, an antique Russian picture frame coffee table, a beautiful white sofa and overstuffed cushions, all working perfectly to complete this very comfortable area.
A notable feature is the upper deck dining area which is designed for comfortable and private dining. There are two teak and stainless-steel tables with a huge U-shaped sofa and chaise lounge chairs. Forward of this to port is a large, new angular sofa in artificial rattan with a round teak table and teak chair. Her top speed is 14 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 460hp Caterpillar D343 diesel engines.
Lying in Greece, Lady Andrea is asking $2,995,000.
