The 37.8 metre Broward motor yacht Ocean Drive, jointly listed for sale by Merle Wood & Associates and Nautikos, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Robert Lama of Miami International Yacht Sales.
Ocean Drive was constructed in aluminium by US yard Broward Marine and delivered in 1988 with extensive refits completed in 2019 and 2020. Up to eight guests can be accommodated on board in four cabins, configured as a full beam master suite, two doubles with queen sized beds and a twin cabin.
The open plan saloon is equipped with an aft lounge area surrounding an entertainment centre comprising a large television screen and a stereo surround sound system. Forward, there is a formal dining table while the trademark Broward country-style kitchen incorporates a dinette for more a casual dining experience. Further forward still is an intimate ‘Club Room’ space for before or after-dinner drinks, which offers a full wet bar and a wine cellar that can hold up to 300 bottles.
Upstairs, the spacious sky lounge aft deck offers a shaded dining area aft and a lounge area forward with optional awning for shelter from the blazing sun. The main deck aft, with al fresco dining for up to eight guests, can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned do that diners can keep cool while enjoying their meals.
Powered by twin 1,200hp Caterpillar diesel engines, Ocean Drive has a cruising speed of 13 knots. The yacht is also equipped with Naiad stabilisers, a hydraulic bow thruster and Northern Light 65KW generators.
Ocean Drive was asking $2,300,000.
