The 53.4-metre classic Benetti motor yacht Seabreeze has been sold with Talal Cassim of Northrop & Johnson representing the seller.
Delivered in 1984 by the Italian shipyard, Seabreeze was constructed in steel and aluminium to a design from Benetti's in-house team. She has been well maintained since first hitting the water, with refits in 1994 (at Palmer Johnson), 2002 (at SBK Marine in Dubai) and 2019 - 2022 (in Athens) leaving her in "peak condition", according to her broker.
The most recent three-year works included full machinery servicing, new communication, navigation and entertainment systems, a new galley and a refreshed interior design from Evan K. Marshall.
Accommodation for 12 onboard Seabreeze comprises a spacious owner's suite with king-size bed and lounge, a VIP cabin with queen-sized bed and two double cabins, also with queens. There are two additional twin cabins on the lower deck – ideal for families travelling with nannies or for security staff – that can also be converted into gym or massage rooms, in addition to crew quarters for a team of up to 14.
Seabreeze's main deck has an open-plan lounge area and a formal dining table for eight guests, the space enhanced by white marble soles with polished birds-eye maple inlays and ostrich trim. Meanwhile, the upper saloon was designed for entertaining with a five-person marble-top bar, a large TV and a sound system with 12 speakers, a subwoofer and a mixer.
The sprawling sundeck comes complete with a touch-and-go helipad that can convert to a 16-person shaded lounge or party area. There are spaces dedicated to sunbathing, dining al fresco and watching the coast go by while the chef prepares lunch at the Teppanyaki grill.
Forward is a Jacuzzi, flanked by sunpads that are softly illuminated at night. The bridge deck aft is used to stow two Novurania tenders and a pair of Yamaha Jet Skis, which, when launched, transforms the area into another al fresco dining space.
Twin Caterpillar 3512B diesel engines power this motor yacht to a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 6,000 nautical miles.
