The 36.9 metre tri-deck motor yacht Vaao, listed for sale by Frank Grzeszczak Jr at IYC, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Antonio Yturbe Redo at Edmiston & Company.
Built in GRP by Italian yard Benetti to a design by Stefano Righini, Vaao was delivered in 2012 as one of the yard’s Benetti 121 Classic yachts and is MCA compliant for charter. An elegant interior by Francois Zuretti uses oak panelling with leather inserts to accommodate up to ten guests in five cabins consisting of a large master suite, VIP suite, a double and two twins, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for seven crew.
In the main saloon, floor-to-ceiling glazing offers a room full of daylight and there is comfortable seating, a full bar and an entertainment centre including a large screen television and a stereo surround sound system. Forward, a formal dining area can seat up to ten guests. The full beam upper saloon has its own informal atmosphere, creating an area where guests can relax and watch all the latest Hollywood offerings on a wide-screen television.
The designers have used the yacht’s three decks to the fullest extent, providing al fresco entertaining and dining areas on the aft and upper decks, but most notably on the sundeck which offers a bar, barbecue, dining table and seating partially shaded by a hard top. Twin 1,448hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,400 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Vaao was asking $9,799,000.
