A €1,400,000 price drop has been announced on the 40.8-metre Benetti Oasis motor yacht Northern Escape, listed with James Lloyd of Edmiston.
Built in GRP in Italy by Benetti, she was delivered in 2022 as the fourth hull in the Oasis 40 series and was designed by British studio RWD with a minimalistic interior by New York-based Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture.
Accommodation is for a party of "12+2" in six cabins, comprising a full-beam master suite, two VIP cabins and two convertible twins with additional Pullman berths. There is also a "flexible use" cabin with two fold-down bunk beds – that can be used as a gym or massage room – plus generous quarters for a crew of eight.
The interior and exterior spaces have been "blended" to create an open feel throughout the yacht. Flush door sills create a seamless harmony on both decks. Large panes of glass flood the interior with natural light and allow for panoramic views.
Two folding platforms on the main deck aft both increase the beam and open up the views, adding to guests' connection with the water. This is accentuated by a "transformer" which folds out from the swim platform, allowing easy access to the water. Northern Escape's exterior wet-bar, U-shaped built-in sofa, and infinity pool combine "to make this once forgotten area of the yacht, one of the key social areas onboard".
There are three other exterior areas for guests including a sundeck "to rival any 40-metre yacht". The bridge deck aft can only be accessed via the skylounge, creating a feeling of privacy. The area forward of the bridge gives guests an alternative spot to relax in the sun or enjoy a cocktail.
The 385GT yacht for sale is powered by twin 1,380hp MAN diesels giving her a top speed of 17.5 knots and cruising speed of 15 knots. Commercially compliant, Northern Escape already has six weeks of charter booked for summer 2024.
Lying in Barcelona, Spain, Northern Escape is now asking €22,500,000.
