Scott French at Fraser Yachts tells me he's closed on his listing for sale, the 29.57m motor yacht HP 4 with Atlantic Yacht and Aircraft bringing the buyer.
Formerly known as Hooter Patrol, HP 4 was built in GRP by US superyacht builder Hargrave Custom Yachts and launched in 2006 with a refit in 2012. The motor yacht is unusual in that her flush deck design creates an open main deck where the galley, main saloon and dining area flow into each other, creating an appealing large space where guests can happily intermingle. Paneling is in high gloss cherry wood, makore and camphor. A staircase from the main saloon leads down to a vast master suite with a large settee and natural stone his and her bathrooms. There are no fewer than three VIP staterooms with queen size beds and also a twin cabin. All staterooms have en suite bathrooms.
A special feature is the large teak aft deck with built in bench seating, a teak table, wet bar and LED flat screen television. In all, 19 guests can be entertained with food and cocktails in this enchanting area. Twin 1,550hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 1,000 nautical miles.
Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, HP 4 was asking $2,699,000.
