The 33.8 metre sailing yacht Blue Too, listed for sale by Stuart Larsen at Fraser, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Neil Emmott of Superyacht Sales & Charter.
Built in aluminium by New Zealand yard Alloy Yachts to a design by Ron Holland, Blue Too was delivered in 1998 and most recently refitted in 2016. With excellent performance, she won all three races in her class in the recent 2019 St Barth’s Bucket by the largest cumulative margin in history. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins comprising a full-beam master suite, double and a twin. All cabins have entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities, while a further two cabins sleep five crew.
One of her greatest aspects is the two-cockpit design, with the private owner’s cockpit aft, while the comfortable centre cockpit offers superb seating, sailing comfort and room for al fresco dining. The deck saloon has a large U-shaped settee covered in Loro Piana leather with comfortable seating for six to port and a cocktail table that converts for dining. Opposite to starboard on the forward side, is the navigation and communication station that may be retracted from sight when not in use, while aft is a full navigation station and adjacent desk.
A few steps from the deck saloon, down a gracious stairway, is access to the well-proportioned full beam main saloon. On the port side of the main saloon is a comfortable seating area with built in sofas and cocktail table, with a dining area opposite on the starboard side, again with a settee covered in Loro Piana leather. Under power, her top speed is 12.5 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,750 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from a 496hp MTU 8V183TE62 diesel engine.
Blue Too was asking $4,900,000.
