51m Damen Yachting support vessel Pursuit sold

28 November 2023 • Written by Gemma Harris

The 51.3-metre motor yacht Pursuit (ex. Oberon), has been sold with Edmiston representing the buyer and Wakestream Marine representing the seller.

Delivered in 2009 by Damen Yachting, Pursuit was the shipyard's first dedicated yacht support vessel with a design inspired by the 50-metre Damen Sea Axe.

In 2015, the superyacht benefitted from a refit that involved an upgrade to her navigation system, a full repaint and the addition of a helicopter shelter and touch-and-go landing pad. Her interior aesthetic is modern, with natural colour tones accompanied by wooden panelling. Accommodation spans three cabins for six guests, with further room for 12 crew members (including a captain).

This 493 GT yacht for sale draws its power from four MTU engines, providing a comfortable cruising speed of 16 knots, a maximum speed of 28 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

The last known asking price for Pursuit was $18,300,000.
