The 55 metre motor yacht Huntress II, listed for sale by Merle Wood at Merle Wood & Associates, has been sold with Alex Lees-Buckley at Camper & Nicholsons introducing the buyer.
Huntress II was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship with exterior styling and interior design by Terence Disdale and delivered in 1997. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins. The full beam master suite is on the main deck and has extra large windows plus a private study that doubles as an observation lounge. Below, four generous twin cabins all have entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities and two have Pullman berths.
A successful charter yacht, her voluminous interior and extensive deck areas host a wide range of amenities sure to satisfy even the most demanding guest. Special features include a dry heat sauna and a fully equipped gymnasium.
The main saloon is ideal for relaxation, with extremely comfortable furniture, a full bar and even a baby grand piano while the main aft deck has a circular seating arrangement to accommodate al fresco entertaining and dining.
Up on the sundeck, there is ample space for more outdoor activity, with a Jacuzzi completely surrounded by sun pads. Twin Caterpillar 3512 DITA diesel engines give her a range of 5,600 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots.
Huntress II was asking $18,975,000.
