The 54.3 metre motor yacht Spirit has been sold with Jonathan Zwaans at Y.CO representing the seller and the buyer introduced by Bertrand Vogele at John Taylor Yachting.
Spirit is part of Dutch superyacht builder Amels’ 177 Limited Editions series designed by Tim Heywood. Built in steel and aluminium with custom features, she was launched in 2011 boasting an elegant modern interior in solid oak and maple by Nuvolari Lenard with styling touches by Christian Liaigre. Accommodation is for 11 guests in five finely appointed cabins, including a master suite with “emperor-sized” bed. She accommodates a crew of 13.
Her Zen-like ambience is in keeping with the on-board spa and massage room. For entertainment, her sky lounge is fitted with an 85-inch plasma television screen.
Spirit boasts a spacious sun deck, providing a perfect entertaining space for up to 100 guests, offering a professional teppanyaki grill built into the granite bar. There is also a custom hot tub located on the bow. Her top speed is 15.5 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots powered by twin 2,100hp MTU diesel engines.
Spirit was asking €27,900,000.
