The custom 40-metre motor yacht Alessandro I, listed for sale with Jeremy Comport and Jack Gradus of Ocean Independence, has received a price drop of €500,000. She is "a wonderful purchase opportunity", according to the brokers, having completed her five-year class survey in 2024. They also said she has "remarkable space for a sailing yacht in her category" and "a highly successful charter record".
Built in 2011 with her most recent refit in 2019, Alessandro I's exterior profile is the work of US design studio Viking Yachts.
Perfect for families or large social gatherings, the sailing yacht's generous saloon is the ideal spot on board for entertaining. Up to 10 guests are accommodated across five en suite staterooms, including a master that stretches the full eight-metre beam, three doubles and a twin.
Out on deck, there is ample space for soaking up the sun and enjoying the views, including on the sundeck and the foredeck sunbathing area complete with Jacuzzi.
Guests have easy access to the water via the hydraulic swim platform at the stern; which is also the perfect place to enjoy Alessandro I's toy box, which includes a Jet Ski, monoski, Seabob, stand-up paddleboards and inflatables, to name but a few. She also comes with two RIBS (one 5.2-metre and one 3.2-metre) for further exploration and ferrying guests to and from the shore.
Powered by two 550hp Volvo Penta D12 engines, the 189GT yacht for sale can reach a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of nine knots when not under sail.
Alessandro I is now asking €2,450,000.
