Less than 3 weeks to go until Between the Bays

4 January 2023 • Written by Sophia Wilson

Owners with superyachts in the Caribbean are being encouraged to register for the inaugural Between the Bays event, which will take place this spring (March 9-12) on the islands of Anguilla and Saint Martin. Hosted by BOAT International and Belmond, the four-day itinerary promises a packed programme of activities and socialising both on and off the water.

Supported by event partners Feadship, Anguilla Tourism and St. Martin Tourism, superyachts participating in Between the Bays will take in two of Belmond’s finest properties – Cap Juluca in Anguilla and La Samanna in Saint Martin. Alongside enjoying Belmond’s world-famous hospitality, the itinerary also includes an adventure day discovering Anguilla and a cruise in company between the two islands.

Taking place the week before the St Barth’s Bucket, a number of high-profile superyachts are already registered to attend the event – including 39 metre sailing yacht Atalante. The event is open to motor yachts and sailing yachts more than 24 metres in length. Both private yachts and superyachts on charter are welcome to attend.

“After a couple of reduced years this season has seen the superyacht fleet flock back to the Caribbean in record numbers and we look forward to welcoming some of these vessels to Between the Bays,” says BOAT International’s Editor-in-Chief Stewart Campbell. “It will be the perfect way to top off the Caribbean season and sample this beautiful corner of the Caribbean before the Bucket gets underway.”
