In 2017, an owner turned to Baglietto with dreams of a "floating home" for his large family. Serial collaborators Horacio Bozzo Design and Hot Lab were brought in for the fully custom project, which would later become C – a superyacht that feels around 10 metres bigger than it actually is, according to designer Enrico Lumini. A high-volume interior, "higher-than-standard" headroom and versatile, multi-generational living spaces fit the original owner's brief to a T, but also position C as the ideal charter platform.
The superyacht is now under the stewardship of new owners who have "spared no expense" in introducing her to the charter market – including a newly expanded galley, Hermes tableware and a max-capacity toybox...
Life on board C
C's guest accommodation is suitably spacious with up to 12 guests sleeping across the yacht's seven cabins. On the main deck are the two master suites and VIP cabins, whose "modern and cosy" feel is heightened by new Tempurpedic mattresses and linens. Descending to the lower deck, guests will find the children's cabin with its colourful, "kid-resistant" decòr and playful touches – including an easy-wash chalkboard wall for drawing.
Bespoke Belvedere furniture and custom Minotti pieces await guests in the main saloon, while the upper deck – originally dedicated to the adults – is outfitted in cool neutrals and marble details for a mature, sophisticated feel. A bar and projector is also at guests' disposal for intimate movie nights.
Family comes first, but privacy is king on board this Baglietto. For one, the cabins have been arranged so that the walk-in closets and make-up area are at the entrance, allowing guests to step into a "mini lobby" before reaching their beds.
This philosophy is also seen in the positioning of the 13 crew, with the galley and crew quarters confined to the lower deck to allow an "undisturbed flow" of guests on the main deck. A dumbwaiter also eases service along. "When the crew is happy it becomes much easier to keep the owners happy," said Fernando Nicholson, senior sales broker at Camper & Nicholsons. "The [crew cabins] are all very spacious and state of the art – they spare nothing."
Stepping outdoors, C's al fresco spaces are designed with sun-soaking and socialising in mind. A glass Jacuzzi pool and two convertible dining tables invite gatherings on the main and upper deck, while the sundeck offers circular seating and a second Jacuzzi pool with sweeping ocean views.
The superyacht's beach club is light, breezy and able to be converted into a massage room or Hammam during languid afternoons. Meanwhile, the more active guests can opt for C's newly-refurbished gym, which comes kitted out with a Peloton bike, a treadmill, free weights and Kinesis by Technogym.
