As guests step into the main saloon, they’ll be faced with the artful colours and textures that make this yacht for charter unique. Lime dining chairs sit to starboard, while walnut-backed armchairs sit to port in a harmony between old and new. The space is bright, thanks to the large windows, yet elegant dark wood panels line the walls. A fold-down balcony lies off the main saloon in a snug to allow a blissful indoor/outdoor feel, and set before it is a huge terracotta bubble-like sofa. This is the spot where guests can settle down before the ever-changing views.
An additional saloon lies on the bridge deck, where there is a showpiece marble bar and colourful cylindrical sofas in blue and green with spherical cushions. There is also a piano on board and space for games nights here, as well as a karaoke set up so that guests can sing the night away on board.
Set just behind, out on the aft deck, is the main dining area with barely-noticeable glass panels to protect guests from the elements. There is also a seeing area here to soak up the rays before lunch and sit and watch the scenery.
Up on the sun deck, Firebird has a large Jacuzzi topped by a 4-degree plunge pool, a nod to her top-notch wellness credentials. This includes a fully equipped gym, hammam and treatment room. There is also a hair salon on board to help guests get ready for special occasions and celebrations.
Firebird accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins. This includes the main deck and split-level master suite, which has a delightful combination of dark woods and cream walls. On the upper level of the master is an office for those who need to keep up with the real world while on charter. A VIP stateroom can be found on the bridge deck, and there are four lower deck guest staterooms, including two doubles, one twin and one convertible double/twin – each with a pullman bed for additional flexibility.
Life on board Firebird
For those looking for a great wellness-orientated charter, Firebird is an excellent choice. Among her crew is a personal trainer and yoga instructor who can help guests with their own fitness regime, ensuring they get the most out of their charter. Post-workout juices can be whipped up at the bar, and those who are really serious can request a healthy menu from the galley.
Either way, Firebird’s chef team is on hand to cater to your particular needs. When BOAT stepped on board, seared rare fallow dear with chard, marrow and hispi cabbage was on the menu, paired with Alain Chavy Puligny Montrachet La Folatieres.
Firebird's aft swim platform offers easy access to a wide range of toys and serves as the perfect spot to relax by the water. Her experienced crew are able to provide instruction in various watersport disciplines.
