Black Pearl

Credit: Jeff Brown

Stats: 106.7m, Oceanco, 2018, 12 guests, 27 crew

Highlights: The 106.7-metre Black Pearl joined the charter fleet in 2024, having been privately owned since 2018. Crafted by Oceanco and uniquely designed by Nuvolari Lenard and Ken Freivokh, she features a pioneering Dynarig sail configuration, which is the largest in the world. Until recently, her neoclassical interior, fashioned by Village Design, had remained a closely guarded secret, but now the ornate and romantic interior has been revealed following her entry into the charter market.

She is praised for her eco-conscious credentials, thanks to her sailing efficiency and hybrid propulsion with a battery bank by Lateral Naval Architects. Standout features include the wellness area, massage room, gym, Hammam, and jet stream pool, but also her like-new condition. This deck space doubles up as a night lounge for evenings, with the pool also transforming into a dancefloor complemented by the on board entertainment system. The on board dining experiences go hand in hand with the 4000-bottle wine cellar and tasting room.

Black Pearl is available for charter with Superyacht Connections.

Her exteriors were designed by RWD while her interiors were also created by RWD as well as Chahan. The yacht for charter is decorated in lavish materials and finishings, from the limestone and quartz fireplaces to multi-textured stone, blue leather and suedes. Natural light floods the interiors thanks to her floor to ceiling windows. Forward of the owner's deck is an enormous foredeck that enables a selection of games to be played. It is particularly well-known for hosting basketball games at sea.

Sophia is available for charter with Edmiston with a weekly rate from €1,700,000.

Designed by Luiz De Basto, Luna boasts an impressive 390 square metres of glass within the superstructure itself  (excluding doors and hull windows), affording her one of the finest views available on the charter market. Her elegant interiors are by Nuvolari Lenard together with Valentina Zannier Interiors and follow a neutral but purposeful colour palette with light-hued timbers, linen and, of course, glass. Accommodation on board Luna is for up to 12 guests split across seven cabins. This includes a complete owner's deck with a suite, a lounge, a terrace forward, and a large outdoor area aft.

Luna is available for charter with Large Yacht Corp with a weekly rate from €1,200,000.

Alfa Nero

Highlights: Alfa Nero saw a fabulous return to the market last year following an all-encompassing refit and she is now available over Valentine's Day in the Caribbean. Her swimming pool remains one of the icons of the industry. Recognised as one of the world’s first "statement" aft pools, the sizeable pool of Alfa Nero can easily convert into a helideck and dance floor, and when full, features a built-in current for resistance swimming. Her interiors by Alberto Pinto are bright, ornate and filled with pop art. She has an impressive 1,250 square metres of living space, which is adorned with exquisite hardwoods, luxurious leathers, elegant fabric and precious metals.

Wheels

Highlights: Delivered in 2008 by Dutch builder Oceanco, Wheels delivers on the three vital components of a successful charter: relaxation, entertainment, and adventure. The yacht has a staggering seven decks and nearly 2,000GT of space, guaranteeing a memorable escape all year round. The 75.5-metre charter yacht was designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, the mind behind Kaos and Nirvana. Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a spectacular split-level master suite. Bathed in natural light, with a mezzanine-style study, the master has panoramic forward views over the bow and a huge skylight that floods the space with natural light. Small details bring the space to life, such as panels of fossils on the wall and textured woven handrails.

Wheels is available for charter with Fraser with a weekly high season rate from $890,000 in the Caribbean.

Firebird

Stats: 69.4m, Feadship, 2007 (2023), 12 guests, 19 crew

The 69.4-metre yacht for charter was refitted in 2023 and brought to life with pops of colour throughout. The result is a unique blend of parquet flooring, ornate antiques and funky furniture. Firebird accommodates up to 12 guests, including the main deck, split-level master suite, a VIP suite on the bridge deck and four lower deck guest cabins, comprising two doubles, one twin and one convertible double/twin.

Firebird is available for charter with Y.CO with a weekly rate from $575,000.

Kamalaya

Stats: 55m, Amels, 2013 (2018), 10 guests, 14 crew

Highlights: Delivered in 2013, the 55-metre Amels Limited Edition, Kamalaya looks as good as ever following a refit in 2018. Her sweeping exterior sheerline comes from the design boards of Tim Heywood, while her fully custom interior is the work of Rémi Tessier. The 55-metre superyacht is better value per night than the Claridge’s penthouse, so for those looking for a romantic getaway this Valentine's, Kamalaya could be a better option in the Caribbean. Accommodation on board is for 10 guests across five well-appointed cabins. She also has a toy box brimming with fun to keep the whole family entertained over Valentine's Day.

Kamalaya is available for charter with Cecil Wright with a weekly rate from €310,000.

Home

Stats: 49,8m, Heesen, 2017, 12 guests, 9 crew

Highlights: Delivered in 2017 by Heesen, Home is a head turner with a sharp, icy appearance thanks to her aggressive bow and large forward windows cleaved into the hull. Having been with the owner for some time, the chef, Owen, has been denoted "phenomenal" by the charter manager, sending out well-presented and flavoursome dishes or romantic treats for Valentine's Day. While there may be a lot of white on board, things are still relaxing and welcoming. On the upper deck lounge, the white sofa sits directly on the interior teak flooring next to woven pouffes and a chrome-inlaid bar. Home can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins: a full-beam master suite can be found on the main deck, while a full-beam VIP cabin (another benefit of the vertical bow), two double cabins and two twins are found on the deck below.

Home is available for charter with Edmiston with a weekly rate from $245,000.

ZeXplorer

Stats: 40m, Newcastle Marine, 2013 (2023), 12 guests, 8 crew

The work included a 3.7-metre extension, a new aft main deck seating area and more stowage in the lazarette for dive gear and water toys, among much else. Remarkably tasteful, the interiors are contemporary and elegant with white walls, cream free-standing furniture and wooden accents. Out on deck, there is plenty of space for romantic relaxation with a Jacuzzi, sunpads and additional dining space. For those that opt for ZeXplorer this Valentine's Day, the sundeck is where you will likely spend most of your days, as the vessel will be in the Caribbean.
