American yard Westport has delivered the eighth unit in its 38.1-metre Westport 125 series Seas the Day. Following a successful launch and sea trials, the owner took delivery of the GRP yacht in Washington state with plans to spend the summer season cruising the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
Westport has described the launch as "significant" for the team who worked on the yacht over the course of the pandemic.
Key features of the 329GT vessel include an "expansive" beach club, an owner's cabin that stretches across the full 7.8-metre beam and a further four en suite guest cabins for a total of eight guests.
According to BOATPro, Seas the Day accompanied two other projects currently underway at the yard, with the ninth hull in the 125 series due to splash later this year. Sisterships include Prime Time and Lion's Den delivered in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
The Westport 125 is one of Westport's most popular series, eclipsed only by the Westport 164 with a total of 14 hulls in the series. The 49.9-metre 164 series is the flagship line for the builder, with one of the most notable deliveries being Hospitality.
