The 45.5 metre motor yacht My Eden has been launched by Greek yard Golden Yachts.
Built from a steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure, this tri-deck cruiser can accommodate up to 13 guests split between six staterooms, including a VIP suite with a Pullman berth, two double cabins and two convertible twins. Meanwhile, the crew quarters on board My Eden allows for a staff of up to nine people.
In a twist on the typical GA, the owner’s cabin is situated on the upper deck aft, giving direct access to the aft deck Jacuzzi, which is flanked by sunbeds. Freestanding furniture by Paola Lenti ensures that the large deck spaces are ideal for entertaining.
The yard adds that Ira Petromanolaki of the IPYD studio created the contemporary interior design found on board My Eden, while George Chairakakis of Golden Yachts acted as project director. Her vital statistics include a maximum draught of 2.3 metres and an 8.2 metre beam, and she can carry a vast array of superyacht water toys.
Power comes from a pair of 492hp Mitsubishi engines, which allow for smooth cruising at 11 knots. What’s more, her twin 168hp Kohler auxiliary engines provide peace of mind on long cruises and a 345hp Komatsu bow thruster ensures maximum manoeuvrability.
Owner’s representative Roni Meshoulam explains that she is due to be handed over to the client on July 18 following the completion of her sea trials. Golden Yachts adds that My Eden will be privately used during the 2017 season but the owner is considering offering her as a yacht for charter during summer 2018.
