Abeking & Rasmussen's 80 metre superyacht Excellence has been delivered and captured on her maiden voyage to Gibraltar.
The yacht is currently on her way to the Monaco Yacht Show, which takes place from September 25-28, where she will have her international debut.
It comes after the mammoth superyacht underwent rigorous sea trials on the North Sea. Previously known as Project 6505, Excellence hit the water for the first time in May.
Excellence's "iconic and futuristic" design was penned by British studio Winch Design, which handled both the interior and exterior of the yacht.
"The experienced owner's brief was that his latest yacht was to be "extraordinary" and create a seamless feeling of openness and connection to the outside world," the studio previously said.
It pointed to the yacht's "striking and angular bow" which offers "a silhouette comparable to a spaceship."
“With her striking bow and her visionary, industry disruption layout, Excellence brings forward a new era for superyacht design," it added.
Other exterior features include large glass panels and curved mirrored glass surrounding the owner's decks.
Excellence is also equipped with a swimming pool and swimming platform, beach club and Jacuzzi, as well as a number of limousine tenders.
Yard chief executive Hans Schaedia said the yacht's "unusual lines" and glass panels, which were presented "major challenges".
"We are very proud of this extraordinary yacht and our exceptional workforce, who mastered all requirements bravely," he said.
Winch Design founder Andrew Winch added: "Excellence represents a huge milestone. A completely unique superstructure, she signifies an innovative and exciting new genre for Winch Design."
