Italian yard Tankoa Yachts has teamed up with superyacht designer Francesco Paszkowski to present a 70 metre superyacht named Next70 at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Following on from the 69.3 metre Suerte and 72 metre Solo, the S702 will feature a vertical bow and extensive forward glazing.
Owners will be offered a choice of three different superstructures to choose from that can be integrated into the exterior styling.
Other exterior details include glazed side bulwarks for uninterrupted sea views and a plentiful use of frameless glass.
The stern garage is large enough to accommodate a nine metre limousine tender and 5.5 metre guest tender while a crew tender, rescue tender and Jet Ski can be stored under the helipad on the bow. The yacht will feature two swimming pools; one on the main deck above the transom beach club and another one the foredeck of the private owner’s area.
The 1,600 GT interior meanwhile includes ample accommodation. As well as the spacious master suite, the yacht features two VIP suites in place of the upper deck’s central lobby, two VIPs on the main deck and a further two ensuite cabins on the lower deck. This arrangement perfectly sets the yacht up to charter, the yard said.
Power comes from a pair of Cat 3516 B DITA-SCAC HD engines for a top speed of 17 knots, and cruising speed of 16 knots.
Speaking about the design, Francesco Paszowski said: “Building on the success of Suerte and Solo, this new 70 metre design incorporates the distinctive brand features of Tankoa and combines them with new solutions.
“The aim has been to develop a yacht with innovative stylistic and technical features that will confirm Tankoa’s status at the forefront of the superyacht sector.”
