26m Custom Line sinks off the coast of Turkey

29 June 2022

A 26 metre superyacht, believed to be called Kapky, was involved in an incident this morning off the coast of Seferihisar, in western Turkey.

Ten people on board were rescued from the stricken vessel, which began taking on water at around 11am local time. The Coast Guard responded to the incident and brought the passengers safely to shore.

A salvage mission began as soon as the yacht's passengers were rescued, with local authorities working to drain the vessel and bring it to land. Local media report that the yacht has been saved from sinking to the ocean floor.

The yacht is part of Custom Line's Navetta 26 series.
