Baglietto has revealed its Superfast 42 superyacht project for the first time.
The 42 metre yacht, which is underway for a European owner, features exterior design penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design and is due for delivery in 2022.
Equipped with a planing aluminium hull, the yacht will have a maximum speed of 28 knots thanks to three MTU 16V 2000 M96 L engines.
Underway at the La Spezia based shipyard, the Superfast 42 will feature a “modern and aggressive” exterior with glazed surfaces.
Key features include a transom door that opens downwards to create a swimming platform complete with sofas and a bar. Inside, a traditional interior layout leads to a full beam master forward of the main deck with a large ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
Four additional guest cabins, comprising two double VIPs and two twins, are found on the lower deck alongside the crew quarters at the bow. Crew accommodation is for a total of seven across a captain’s cabin and three cabins with bunk beds.
The wheelhouse is found on the upper deck alongside the large sky lounge and al fresco dining area.
