Nobiskrug and Tillberg Design of Sweden have joined forces to present a brand new superyacht concept called Lycka, named after the Swedish word for happiness.
First unveiled at the Palm Beach Boat Show, renderings of the 77 metre superyacht paint a picture of serenity with a focus on sustainable materials and Scandinavian-inspired design cues.
“Lycka has been purposefully designed for longevity - from the hull shape to the materials selection to the technical systems - to meet future demands as well as environmental regulations,” said Daniel Nerhagen, partner and yacht director at Tillberg Design of Sweden.
“In partnering with a renowned German shipyard for this design, our goal is to create a yacht that can stand the test of time with the highest build quality available.”
Conceived as a “home away from home”, Lycka places a heavy focus on simple design and wellbeing-enhancing amenities. An open-plan layout and full-height windows feature throughout, alongside unfolding sea terraces that promote a continuous connection to the outside world.
Blonde woods, white accents and subtle notes of colour promise a light and airy ambience throughout the yacht, with a spiral staircase wrapped around a lift connecting the lower deck to the bridge deck.
On-board highlights include a gym-spa hybrid and an oversized sundeck jacuzzi accompanied by a bar and lounge area.
Accommodation is offered for 14 guests in a well-considered layout which comprises six en suite cabins on the lower deck and a full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck. The owner’s cabin is complete with a dressing room and lounge area.
The yacht’s exterior is characterised by clean, elegant lines balanced by a sharp plumb bow that lend her a contemporary silhouette. Renderings suggest a foredeck helipad and twin unfolding sea terraces in the beach club.
Lycka can be equipped with either diesel or hybrid propulsion, in accordance with the wishes of her owner.
