German shipyard Lürssen has revealed new renderings showing the interior design of its 98 metre, emission-free superyacht concept inspired by Alice In Wonderland.

Named ALICE, the concept was first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show and was designed in-house at Lürssen. ALICE features five decks, including an unusual, fully-open main deck, and is powered by fuel cell technology.

Lead exterior designer Jim Sluijter explained: "With lots of yachts what you see is the and superstructure connected to each other. I separated the two so you have the hull, the superstructure and an interesting exterior deck in between."

Looking forward

This open-air deck is home to a dance floor and entrance area, with a manicured garden on the bow and multiple al fresco dining and lounging areas in between. Such amenities are granted by the concept's substantial 17 metre beam.

ALICE even features a floating glass-bottomed pool suspended above the entrance area and across an opening in the sundeck. The sundeck itself is home to a helipad, oversized sun pads and a circular lounge area aft.

The master suite is positioned forwarded on the upper deck while remaining guest accommodation can be found on the lower levels comprised of eight staterooms, each with its own rectangular window. Interior design comes courtesy of Dasha Moranova Designs.

"Right now she remains a model but one that paves the way," said the shipyard. Sluijter described the concept as a "dream world" and a "conversation starter" for owners who might be inspired by a certain element of ALICE.

Alice was first revealed at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show

ALICE is emissions-free thanks to fuel cell technology and the tenders and toys will all be electric too.
