Dutch submersible specialist U-Boat Worx has revealed renderings of a 50-metre support yacht concept in collaboration with London-based studio Uros Pavasovic. Known as Hexa, the design was originally envisioned as a floating helipad and has since developed into a fully-fledged support yacht.
Where exteriors are concerned, the renderings show Hexa with a rugged, industrial design defined by bold geometric shapes and angular lines. Her bright orange hull is accented by black insets, while expansive, flat decks provide ample space for tenders, toys and a helipad.
Designer Uros Pavasovic described Hexa as “a true playground for owners who crave adventure and luxury in equal measure,” highlighting her ability to deliver a range of experiences both on and off the water.
The support yacht is set to boast an impressive selection of toys and tenders, including a U-Boat Worx C-Researcher submarine, two Falcon Tenders – an SX660 Guest Shuttle and an SX10 Open Sports Limousine – and an Ariel Nomad off-roader. Meanwhile, modular inflatables offer added flexibility for hosting guests or larger groups.
The expansive entertainment deck and swim platform cater to owners looking to maximise guest experience on board. Uros Pavasovic went on to name Hexa as “a next-level support vessel that takes the superyacht experience to new heights,”.
This follows the reveal earlier this year of another support vessel concept, the 72.8-metre Catfish by Shadowcat, developed in collaboration with T. Fotiadis Design.
