Italian shipyard Codecasa has delivered Gioia, the sixth unit in its Codecasa 43 series. According to BOATPro, the 43-metre has departed from the yard's facilities in Viareggio, Italy and is now anchored in Saint Tropez.
Work on the 43-metre project began on speculation in April 2022, with the owner joining the build during an advanced stage of construction. The superyacht's most recent sistership is Boji, which hit the water in 2022.
The exterior is characterised by strong lines, a classic vertical bow and a gunmetal grey finish by Codecasa's technical staff. All naval architecture has been designed in-house to Lloyds Class specifications.
Interiors have been styled by Cor D. Rover, with a layout that comprises two light-filled saloons, four large guest cabins and an owner’s suite, located forward on the main deck. Crew accommodation is across four twin cabins with separate captain's quarters. The spacious exterior areas, including the sundeck with a Jacuzzi, are also a highlight.
Key numbers include an internal volume that sits just below 500GT, a nine-metre beam and 2.6-metre draught. The yacht is equipped with two Caterpillar engines, propelling her to a top speed of 16 knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 11 knots.
Earlier this year, Codecasa delivered a 23.9-metre "gentleman's yacht" named Vero to a buyer in Asia.
