First Nordhavn 120 explorer yacht set to be delivered

Launched in April, the first Nordhavn 120 has successfully completed her sea trials and is ready to start her maiden voyage on July 12.

The new flagship series for Pacific Asian Enterprises is a composite yacht with a length of 36.75m. She’s designed by the in-house team with the possibility for full customisation. To follow the wishes of the owner, the first hull presents an enclosed sun deck and the interior is designed by Destry Darr.

Her contemporary interior accommodates 10 guests in five cabins: a full-beam main-deck master, two VIPs forward of the engine room and a double and twin cabin aft. Crew quarters are for up to eight members.

Powered by twin economical 965hp MTU engines giving a cruising speed of 12 knots and an ocean-spanning capability, the first Nordhavn 120 will be delivered on her own bottom. A stop-over is scheduled for Hong Kong on July 16, then she will start a 25-day Pacific crossing with an arrival to Vancouver expected in mid-August.
