First look inside Ferretti Yachts' new INFYNITO 90

9 November 2023 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Ferretti Yachts has released a first look into its new 26.9-metre flybridge model, INFYNITO 90. First debuted at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, the yacht is inspired by explorer vessels and features exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti.

The INFYNITO 90 revolves around an all-season terrace found forward on the main deck tucked in the bow, which offers a concealed spot for relaxing while underway or at anchor. The name plays on the FY initials of Ferretti Yachts, while also nodding to the model’s “infinite” onboard experience that “connects the boat to the horizon like never before”, according to the yard.

INFYNITO 90 is characterised by a class-leading use of space, with 100 square metres of exterior space that equates to almost 50 per cent more than the segment average. A further 140 square metres is reserved for interior living space, which is 25 per cent more than comparable yachts, according to the shipyard. This is also the first Ferretti Yachts model to feature a skylounge completely surrounded by windows, with direct access onto the upper deck cockpit.

The lower deck can offer up to four double cabins (master, VIP and two twins), all with en-suite bathroom and sleeping a total of eight guests – or 10, if the main deck is configured with the master cabin in the bow. Interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia, with the studio using a mix of soft lines and calm tones to fulfil the brief for a "balanced, cosy and sophisticated" ambience, that feels like an extension of the home.

The All-Season Terrace is fitted out on the first unit with a Jacuzzi surrounded by sofas. As an alternative, the owner can opt for a panoramic cocktail bar featuring a counter and four bar chairs, or a series of sun loungers. All the solutions feature a sun pad in the bow, while electrically operated concealed windows can be fitted to connect the terrace with the neighbouring interior area.

INFYNITO 90 is also the first Ferretti Yachts model to introduce the yard’s brand new F.S.E.A. (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture). This package of environmentally-focused cruising solutions includes a solar roof that generates electric power to charge the batteries and operate the hotel load, allowing zero emissions while the yacht is at anchor. The package also includes green materials including sustainably-sourced teak and recyclable fabrics and leathers.

The yacht's longitudinal garage is able to store a Williams Diesel-JET 415 Tender

The new range will feature a new generation of high-efficiency hulls that promise increased comfort at lower speeds, as well as fast displacement performance over 20 knots. Fitted with a pair of MAN engines, the yacht can reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. Ferretti Yachts’ engineering department has also custom-designed a fire system – certified by RINA – for the boat’s lithium batteries.

The news follows the recent release of Ferretti Group's Q3 financial results.
