FDC Yachts reveals second 39m multi-purpose Aluna model

24 March 2023 • Written by Rachel Ingram

Turkish shipyard FDC Yachts has revealed the second model in its Aluna series. Aluna 127 is a 39-metre displacement yacht featuring distinctive exterior and interior styling by Red Yacht Design.

According to the yard, she aims to "offer a different perspective to the world yacht market" and can be used both as an expedition yacht and a support vessel. She's scheduled for launch in the summer of 2025.

A standout feature of the Aluna 127 is her impressively spacious aft deck, created thanks to the forward placement of her superstructure. As well as being a great spot for entertaining and relaxation, the expansive deck can be used to store water toys, including a tender up to 12 metres in length, and land a helicopter.

On the stern, guests can find more toy storage plus a beach club and an al fresco gym area that almost touches the water.

The yacht accommodates 10 guests in five spacious and comfortable cabins, including an owner's suite with a large private terrace and twin bathrooms. Communal spaces include the main saloon and dining area and a multi-purpose lounge that can be used for meetings, movie screenings, and more.

Design highlights include floor-ceiling windows that flood the saloon with natural light and a high bow that makes her useable in all sea conditions.

Aluna 127 is currently for sale with Ocean Independence ahead of her summer 2025 launch.

She is the second Aluna model in the series that champions multi-functional design and a flexible layout. She follows the Aluna 87 which is scheduled to hit the water in summer 2023.
