Dynamiq Yachts has revealed a new yacht conversion project that will use one of the most widespread Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) series as a base – the 77-metre UT 755.
This project belongs to Dynamiq's construction service TransFORM!, operating out of Dynamiq's Antalya facility in Turkey. The yard's initial project has been devised in collaboration with Dobroserdov Design and builds off of the original series designed by Rolls Royce Marine.
"The idea behind TransFORM! is simple and logical: there exists a large quantity of commercial vessels of different size and purpose that represent proven, strong technical platforms that can be easily transformed into luxury superyachts," explained a Dynamiq spokesperson. "The owner gets a modern superyacht much faster and for a fraction of the cost of a new construction."
The project benefits from the UT 755's spacious deck, which in Dynamiq's redesign is arranged with several guest areas as well as tender and toy storage. Accommodation is across seven cabins, with amenities that include a spa, gym, cinema room and helicopter hangar.
This announcement follows the reveal of Dynamiq's futuristic "eco-explorer" yacht concept last month.
