Italian yachting brand Austin Parker has unveiled the design of a new navetta yacht model, the Iconica 100, at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.
The news comes as part of its announcement regarding the launch of its latest range of yachts made up of two lines: one of catamarans (Unica), and one of navettas (Iconica). The Iconica line will comprise three boats ranging from 23.5 metres to 30.4 metres, the latter being the Iconica 100. Pininfarina and Fulvio de Simoni are responsible for the yachts' designs, characterised by the brand's signature A-shaped hardtop support.
Highlights of the model include the two-level aft entrance with access to the "loft-style beach club" and guest cabins on the lower deck, while the main saloon and owner cabin are located on the deck above. The owner's cabin is complete with a private terrace for unwinding, with crew cabins and guest areas separated for further privacy.
Other notable features include the large windows and continuous ceiling design, while the outdoor decks will feature the Segno collection designed by Pininfarina for Reflex.
Baris Nalcaci, president of Austin Parker, said: "Austin Parker’s new range of yachts represents our commitment to innovation, luxury, and sustainability. Inspired by the UNICA58 , which was presented last year at Cannes, and embodying the spirit of Pininfarina and De Simoni, these new yachts reflect our dedication to excellence and our vision for the future of yachting."
Daniele Mazzon, head of nautical design at Pininfarina, added: “Our transversal know-how has played a crucial role in overcoming the complexities of this challenge. We focused on identifying and addressing the missing features in the current market, ensuring our new products stand out by providing unmatched comfort and performance. Our latest product range is designed to offer all the comforts of a private villa, without sacrificing the essential seakeeping capabilities that our customers expect."
Fulvio De Simoni, CEO of Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design also commented on the launch of the new range: “Designing a new line of boats for a shipyard is a great responsibility, and I thank Mr. Nalcaci for believing so strongly in our work, We need to anticipate trends, imagine new ways to use onboard spaces, and define a distinctive style that identifies the shipyard. Collaborating and sharing ideas with such an important partner has certainly been stimulating, and I believe that together we are creating projects of great quality."
Visitors at the Cannes Yachting Festival will have the opportunity to see the scale model of the ICONICA 100, while they can explore the new UNICA 58 catamaran on the water.
