The 49.95 metre ISA yacht Alibaba has recently emerged from Palumbo’s Ancona facilities after a full-scale refit. Works included a complete interior overhaul and a number of technical upgrades, as well as repair and maintenance work.
The yard has worked closely with Francesco Paszkowski, the studio responsible for the design of the superyacht, in order to maintain her original style and charm.
Key components of the refit included upgrades to the owner’s cabin, main saloon and beach club area. The external areas of the yacht also received attention, with the main, upper and sun decks all benefitting from a refresh.
According to Palumbo, the yard “met the set deadlines” without “compromising the quality standards”. It attributed great work and teamwork to the successful result, while the yacht’s captain called the team behind the refit “proactive”.
The yacht was originally launched in 2011 to an exterior design by Andrea Vallicelli, with interiors by the aforementioned Francesco Paszkowski Design. She was formerly known as Saint, and her interiors were conceived with a chic, minimal theme with plenty of wood and Scandi-style simplicity.
The refit comes after the yacht changed hands in November 2021.
