The 38.1 metre motor yacht Black Gold, listed for sale by Bryan Long at Westport Yacht Sales, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP for a repeat Westport customer who traded up from a Westport 112, Black Gold is the first hull in the Westport 125 series and was delivered in 2016. Accommodation is for 10 guests split across five cabins, including a main deck master suite, two double cabins and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters are suitable for a staff of up to five.
Her main deck is particularly impressive with a spacious saloon and dining area, eat-in country kitchen and, all the way forward, a master suite with a small private foyer and a spectacular en suite.
Elegant stairs wind their way up to the wheelhouse. The size, views and the eye-catching glass bridge by Marine Technologies, an American company that supplies the offshore industry, make it an attractive multifunctional space. The six Hatteland display touchscreens can show all functions interchangeably, and the captain’s helm chair is equipped with an additional touchscreen. A sofa upholstered in leather from Holly Hunt is a great spot from which to watch the action and almost guarantees the captain will have company on passages.
Her top speed is 25 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 2,600hp MTU 16V2000M96L diesel engines.
Black Gold was asking $18,995,000.
