The 61.8-metre motor yacht Roma has been sold with Lukas Stratmann of Ocean Independence representing the seller and Edmiston representing the buyer.
The environmentally-friendly yacht is the second VSY62 hull from Viareggio Superyachts (VSY) and is RINA Green Yacht certified. Built in steel and aluminium and delivered in 2010, her naval architecture is by Espen Oeino and her interior is by Newcruise and Gehr.
Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in six staterooms including a substantial main deck master suite with panoramic 270-degree views ahead and a bridge deck VIP. Three guest cabins are also located on the main deck and a twin cabin is found on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of up to 18.
Highlights aboard Roma include a cinema on the main deck and an elevator that runs from the lower deck to the bridge deck.
Up on the sun deck, a large pool and an air-conditioned gymnasium, as well as a dining table, give guests a choice of treating or pampering their bodies.
Twin 2,680hp Caterpillar engines give the 1,090GT yacht a cruising speed of 14 knots and maximum speed of 17 knots.
The broker said that Roma is "the most awarded charter yacht in MYBA history".
Roma was asking €29,900,000 and lying in Mallorca, Spain.
