Steve Reoch at All Ocean Yachts has listed twin manned Triton 1000/2 submarines for sale.

They are both  ABS classed, Cayman flagged two person submersibles, fully proven and currently diving to depths of 300 metres, equipped with many upgrades for ocean exploration, adventure and scientific endeavours, including a manipulator arm. A 300 metre depth rated GoPro camera pack offers up to four hours of continuous video and they have the scope to explore for science, industry, antiquities and life-altering adventure, where no one has gone before.

The Triton 1000/2 has a 205kg payload, 3,100kg dry weight and quadruple Tecnadyne electric propulsion thrusters with 120V DC power allowing dives up to four to six hours. Further features include a quick battery charge system, Blueview 2D multibeam sonar, a TrackLink 1500 multiple target integrated USBL acoustic tracking and communication system, DVL Doppler velocity log; dual sub tracking navigation systems, 96 hours reserve oxygen and monitoring for air. Extensive professional ocean training, support and spares are included.

With these Triton 1000/2s, there are two sub-tracking and navigation systems, which means somebody holding a computer on the surface can see exactly where the submarine is underwater. Inside the sub itself are two Panasonic touchpad computers that monitor air quality, carbon dioxide and many other important metrics.

Broker Steve Reoch enthuses: “These submarines have a special housing that lets you take the GoPro down to 1,000 feet. You can take countless photos and up to four hours of continuous video. The footage, with this vessel, can be of places that nobody in the world has ever seen before."

This  submarine could be the perfect addition to one of the  world's largest expedition yachts.

The Triton submarines are for sale on a ‘try before you buy basis’ and are based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with price on application.
